2020 vision

The year was drawing to a close, and as I optimistically unfurl from the foetal position, I couldn't but help wonder what 2021 held in store for us. 

Catapulting me from a state of heightened awareness and hysteria, to catatonia at regular intervals, the year 2020 had been eventful to say the least. From bushfires, a global pandemic, Canberra bubble's being burst, through to the most entertaining reality TV show to date – the USA elections, I sensed 2021 might feel it had very big boots to fill. Let's hope it decides to gracefully claim its place like Joe Biden and become relatively dull, and extremely sensible. We could all do with some well earned rest, and an opportunity to recover.
